Welcome to the official homepage of the Internet Fantasy Gymnastics Association (IFGA). The IFGA is the governing body for Fantasy Gymnastics federations. This webpage contains everything you need to know about the vastly growing world of fantasy gymnastics on the Internet. There will also be several meets where members of one federation will compete against oneanother.
If your gym is not a member of IFGA, it is strongly suggested that it join by the time Worlds rolls around in August. Worlds are always a great experience for any virtual gymnastics club, and they're also much fun. So if your gym is not yet a member of IFGA, join the fun!
If your gym would like to join IFGA, send an email to the president at IFGA2000@netscape.net and include the gym name, head coach's name, and URL. Summer Worlds are in late August, and the Mafia will be hosting this large event!
The 2001 Internet Fantasy Gymnastics Association Olympic Games will be held December 29, 2000.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you send your FULL roster of gymnasts to Bianca Miller, as she is currently catalouging and numbering each gymnast in IFGA clubs. If a gymnast does not have a number, she cannot compete in IFGA competitions. *IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED WITH TRACY GREEN, YOU MUST RE-REGISTER WITH BIANCA MILLER* The IFGA catalogue will be updated exactly one week before every IFGA competition. Please email your club name and ALL gymnast's names to Tracy, and any updates to your roster.
Since Artistic Aerials will soon be closing, I am in need of someone to host the 2000 IFGA Olympic Games, December 30th. If you are interested in hosting this major event, please e-mail me. You will be subjected to a series of tests and interviews to determine if you are capable of hosting, so please only email me if you are serious about hosting.
It has come to my attention that many non-IFGA gyms will be hosting invitational meets soon. I reccomend that you do not compete in these competitions because it is not assured that your gymnasts will be treated fairly. Also, any invitational meet hosted by an IFGA gym with competitors from non-IFGA gyms will not recieve IFGA sanctioning.
